a serene escape
japanese atmosphere attentive staff outdoor bath
i adored the traditional japanese atmosphere (it felt so authentic!). the staff was wonderfully attentive. the onsen provided a relaxing experience after exploring, i especially loved the outdoor bath area.

the hotel breakfast was good (i really liked the variety).
The room felt small. Downstairs could barely fit two futon beds, a real squeeze, especially considering the price i paid. the room was not clean either, it seemed most guests wore shoes inside.

nice detail great craftsmanship rude staff bad attitude
the design had nice detail and i appreciated the craftsmanship.
The staff member with pony hair was rude. She treated guests differently and her english wasn't great, but her attitude was the real problem. when i checked out, i asked for my car, and she rudely said i could only get it at 11, even though my flight was at 11. I had to ask her to stop talking, it was so rude.
